entry eight | birthday (part II)

hello everyone!

as i said earlier, today is Phoebe's birthday, so i took her out to have lunch at a cafe i like. i introduced her to Aaron, and he gave her a free birthday cupcake (which wasn't poisoned, for once. i'm still annoyed about my birthday 2 years ago, Aaron. i mean, who gives a fourteen-year-old a poisoned cupcake? Aaron, that's who.)

after lunch, we went for a walk in the park. it's Autumn at the moment, as it has been for the past couple weeks, so the leaves are all beautiful shades of red and yellow and orange. Phoebe took some pretty photos with her polaroid camera.

everything went really well, which was great!

to Phoebe, because i know she's probably reading this:

happy birthday! although you're a new friend, i care about you heaps. i hope you have a wonderful day, and a wonderful year. you are an amazing, kind, creative person, and i know you will do something brilliant with your life.

to everyone else who's reading this:

if you see Phoebe at some point today, make sure to wish her a happy birthday.
