entry nine | Project update

all of what i'm about to recount happened roughly a month ago. sorry for not posting about it until now, but it wasn't safe to do so.

now that that's out of the way, on to the story.

i finally completed my Project. "now, what exactly was this Project, Genevieve?" you may be thinking. it's kinda hard to explain, but here's the basics:

you know my cat Jasper? well, he wasn't always a cat. in fact, he's a human that can shape-shift into a cat sometimes. unfortunately, ...something happened and he got stuck as a cat. for about a year and a half.

my Project was figuring out a way to turn him back into a human. it involved a few illegal technological devices, a lock of Jasper's hair, and a lot of trial and error.

but last month, it worked! and Jasper's back to normal! which is great. unfortunately, the City Council were pretty angry. you see, they were the ones who made Jasper get stuck as a cat because he was "poking his nose where it didn't belong". which is stupid. because Jasper is a police detective. his entire job is to investigate things!

so we (Jasper and i) were on the run for about a month. then Jasper figured out who murdered a high-ranking government official, and the City Council decided that him "poking his nose where it didn't belong" might actually be a good thing.

so yeah, that's what happened. Jasper's reading this over my shoulder as i type, and says hi.

it's good to have my godfather back again.

Jasper says that calling him my "godfather" makes it sound like he's really old, and wants to let you all know that he isn't. old, that is. he's definitely my godfather.

anyway, that's what's happened since i last posted.

Jasper says that since i'm not back at school yet tomorrow, i might be able to come with him to work. that'd be cool.
